Just arriving to Singapore was a step forward in time...immediately you notice how much cleaner it was...tall skyscrapers and a snap back to the modern world. I couldn't help but think of the Pirates Movie...when Chow Yung Phat....says "welcome to Singapore" But I strolled back in the land of credit cards accepted everywhere and the "modern" world. It was great....not that KL wasn't modern...but there's a distinct difference. From trash laid out for days to root on the curbside...to not even a paper wrapper on the ground...it felt clean.
I'd had a preview to the city from chatting with friends...it was great to see Dave Mel and Aidan.
It was a repeat of Prague...dinner with friends...listening to music chatting and of course...having a few drinks. It's great to see little kids like Aidan grow up who are learning Chinese in school and can write his name and other words...that night we all got Scripto tattoo designed by Aidan...in Chinese. We watched Ricky Gervais..clips from the Global Globes...which was hilarious.
After a 2am trip to the noodle soup place across the street, we called it a night. The next morning, we went to the pool and had a stroll around before my trip to the airport...where....the blog will jump continents...over to Australia...:)
