Chillin in Malaysia

Since the drama of Thailand, I've been chillin for the past few days in Kuala Lumpur with some old DHL pals. After being in a new city like Chicago for so long and only making a few good friends...or at least I think we're still friends..;) it's nice to come to meet friends who you've known for a long time.  They know all your habits...like favorite foods and pasttimes and you know theirs. It's just fun to sit and laugh and have a drink. Seeing their kids growing up and talk about the changes in your lives and how best to make the changes happen. So Kuala Lumpur hasn't been much siteseeing...it's been more like catching up with old friends and having coffees, some drinks and dinner on a banana leaf...Sitting around the pool...going down the waterslide 100 times...talking about old stories of hanging out at Reigrovy Sady during the World Cup of 2006...or some other hilarious story.

This week has been more of the same, relaxing and catching up on sleep...trying not to get caught out in the thunderstorms...walking around under the umbrella to try and keep the burning heat of your shoulders. It's a pity that I won't be able to see some of them. But we all seem to gravitate towards the same areas...so hopefully I'll get to see them in London this year.

Arrival to KL....
And on Saturday...I'll be adding another country onto the list...Singapore...:)
